When education becomes global
Education does not have any boundary and the overwhelming popularity of Internet and its far reaching effect has really made education to annihilate any kind of boundaries. Just imagine that you can read an online news magazine and become aware of the latest incidents of South Africa with the click of your mouse. The underlying message is very clear, never try to put your education under the iron chest of yours, rather share it and enjoy the reciprocal also.
Most of the reputed universities have started online courses and distance education.
Brushing aside the business impact, the students at large can take the advantage of this global education system, when you can read a course of London Art University sitting at your bedroom in India. The obvious effect is global standardization of education and it is good to hear that people have already started working on it.
We all know that knowledge and awareness must be enhanced of the people to ensure a proper growth of the country and Internet has given us that apple of Garden of Eden, which can bring a radical change in our lives.
Online education with its tremendous possibilities have already created a churning inside the Instructor Led training system, as the hegemony of the instructors have been challenged by the modern outlook.
We have to encourage such debate as we need to find out the modernity staying on the solid base of traditional methods.
