TCM and Ayurveda

As China and India had seen the dawn of civilizations almost in the same time, one can notice a lot of common practices and concepts in Ayurveda (in Indian Context) and Qigong (in Chinese context). TCM is a recognized phenomenon all over the world. The objective of TCM is the free-flow of qi to create a balance between yin and yang as well as an equal distribution of energy levels in all the energy pathways of the body.

But how does it actually work? You need to tune into tsubos and harmonize the energy-points of the body.

A clean mind leads to the life force Qi and in turn Qi leads to unobstructed blood flow. So, the body and mind are not two complete separate icons, they are interconnected and improper functioning of one casts an adverse effect on the other.

In a nutshell we can say that the mind is cohesive to the body to present a congenial environment for an individual to fight against the world at large.

The main essence of the western science and practices was to treat body, emotions, mind and spirit separately, but the primitive civilizations like Chinese and Indians always found a matching wavelength between body, mind and spirit.

Now lets have a quick look at the root cause of all diseases, in other words the cause that creates the imbalance between the yin and yang.

TCM simplifies the internal mechanism by identifying five key organs namely kidney, liver, spleen, heart and the lungs.

If the entire body is thought to be a network of various organs and blood vessels, then these five are essentially the hubs through which all the energies flow, are controlled and routed. Any external ailment is also directly a reaction of malfunctioning of any of these vital organs.

To conclude we can say that the energy medicine had been known and practiced amongst all old civilizations for ages, which have found its resurgence in the western countries only now.

Diseases – Causes and Remedies

Most of the ancient philosophy of recovery used to relate between the lifestyle, a human leads and the chance of falling ill for them. Even today research have established the fact that mental agonies, excess/ less diets, uncontrolled lifestyle, lack of exercise or body movements affect our longevity to a great extent. In Ayurved, the physicians used to believe that the magnitude of the aura directly varies with the above-mentioned factors.

And as per conservation of laws, an individual cannot hold this energy forever and it largely depends upon his practice, perfection and his willingness, lifestyle.

Ayurved has been analyzing the cause and remedial processes as follows:

Cause of Diseases

  • External – The environmental factors
  • Internal – The emotions and mind set of an individual
  • Livelihood – How you lead your lifestyle? Like Diet, self-control and luring effects etc.

Remedial Process

  • Exercises and Meditation
  • Herbal Medicines
  • Massages
  • Nutrition

The myth is that in the ancient days sages and saints used to heal others just by touch thus transmitting their own energy onto the diseased. Even Qigong in China and Indian Vedic Ages have witnessed these myths.

Mesothelioma - a scourge but not curse

Mesothelioma is one of the dreaded scourge, human civilizations have ever witnessed. This is said to be extremely malignant and till date it is incurable. Typically it affects the membrane mesothelium, the essential component to protect most of our internal organs.

Although mostly it starts with the pleura (almost 75%), but slowly spreads out through out the body.

National Cancer Institutes reports of 2,000 new cases in every year in USA only. While the statistics shows a steady growth of Mesothelioma over two decades, the number of male victim is much more than female. However, medical practitioners find equal chances in male and female.

The research indicates the main root cause of Mesothelioma is asbestos, starting from the dwelling unit ending with the industry usage.

The US Occupational Safety and OSHA have set limits in asbestos usage in workplace. At least smoking does not seem to be adverse in this type of cancer.

If you are suffering for long from short breath, blood coughing, anemia, abnormal fatigueness, bowel obstruction, constant chest pain, abdominal pain, drastic weight loss, lack of appetite, chronic cough that worsens gradually, continuous bronchitis or pneumonia, don’t neglect - because all of them are the symptoms of Mesothelioma.

Mesothelioma can be conformed by the normal test only, the diagnosis requires modern tools like MRI, CT Scan, X-Ray and finally by biopsy.

The mortality rate of Mesothelioma is almost 100% within 5 years, but an early stage diagnosis may lead to a longer life.

We advise you to read and focus on various articles and literatures of Mesothelioma to gain adequate literacy because we believe in Francis Bacon’s remark that “Knowledge is power.”

Health and Ailment

Perhaps when Adam had consumed the fruit of the wisdom tree in the Garden of Eden, the fruit started showing its tantrums inside the body to take away the mental peace of human being. We terms this sort of trouble as disease.

People have fallen ill in various circumstances and have always tried to get fast recovery from the same by applying the available resources and knowledge. The days are changed and after a lot of refinements and reformation, we can get today’s ultra modern medicines and apparatus for our recovery.

The science has discovered a lot as well as the physicians have applied them for the benefit of the human beings and the process is still on.

Just imagine, even a slight health disorder used to lead to disaster and today people have invented various ways to increase the longevity and have found various survival strategies. People have become aware and have started taking prevention against them.

Once we talk of various treatment methodologies, there has been always a conflict between the old and the new. Like there was a day, when only barks and pulps used to work as the primary ingredients for medicine and today the modern sophisticated laboratories process various ingredients in chemical and other various systems to offer a more effective and harmless medicines.

We must admit such an ever cherished conflict, may be even ego fights have helped to discover much better medicines and therapies for mankind.

Now the world is round and it is found that most of the salient issues rotate back in cyclic fashion. This can be very nicely noticed in dress code or fashion designing. The idea of cyclic process even holds good for medical science also. Ayurved and Qigong, the old age treatment procedures have again come back and many physicians and medical researchers have started working on them vividly to improvise.

Can we call it an reincarnation? May be!
